Uploading Hubspot Tracking Code to Kentico

Emily McKenzie asked on July 3, 2018 13:05

Hi,

We are trying to log a Hubspot Tracking Code to our Kentico website, which needs to go before the tag of each page on the website. We do not have a master page setup, so I put this into the header section on each page. It doesn't seem to be working on the site, so wanted to see if anyone might have any additional suggestions where the script should go (see below)

Emily,

Can you give me an idea on how your pages are developed? If you're not using a master page then how are you implementing all your navigation and footer items? Also, have you attempted to clear the cache on your site and/or browser?

Hi Brendan,

Thanks so much for getting back to me! We actually hired developers to build the site a few years ago, and only just got the administrative login details last week. I have way more familiarly with different CMS platforms, and do understand much about Kentico. I was trying to find the footer section to put the script in there, but cannot find it anywhere on the backend.

I cleared the cache and my cookies, but I still can't find any trace of the script when I view the page source on the pages I installed it on.

If you have any insight that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Without seeing the site/code it's hard to say what's going on. Feel free to reach out to be privately and share any other info you'd like.
