media library not showing files

Teresa Powell asked on February 19, 2016 17:32

Have something interesting going on with our media library. Currently if you open and look in the media library, it appears to be empty, none of the images display. However, if I go to add an image to a page, I can navigate to and see the images. Any ideas on what would have them not display when viewing the media library.

Hi,

Could it be by any chance the images are selected from an other media library or even from an other site?

Greets,

David

Have you found an answer to this? I am experiencing the same issue.

Upload files through media library and they disappear after a day. No record of them. However, if I go to add it through a content form I see the images but with broken placeholders.

What type of file storing do you use?

In settings > System > Store files in

    Database
    File system
    Database and file system

If on file system could you check if it's the file or the DB record missing (DB table: Media_File)

I'm having the same issue. In my case, it seems to be limited to Google Chrome. Any ideas as to what setting in Chrome that may be causing this behavior?
