Kentico is built on ASP.NET Web Forms and I don't know that the UI part of Kentico will move off of web forms and to 100% MVC anytime soon. That being said, developing your site with an MVC approach has gotten much better over the last 3 versions but v12 is supposed to have some spectular support for MVC development.
So just to clarify we're talking about 2 different things:
- the overall Kentico platform (the buttons you click to add content and configure items within the Kentico UI)
- how you develop you or your clients website within Kentico
