Kentico 7 License Upgrade Base to Ultimate- Missing features

Hi all,

I have site with V7 base license in my dev machine, I have sticked new ultimate license from Licenses Tab under CMS Site manager. Now I am trying to set up Staging and Synchronization. I cannot find Microsoft.Web.Services3.dll under by bin directory so I have manually copied it from another Kentico Site. Also I cannot find Staging icon at this location CMSDesk –> Tools –> Staging -> Servers.

I am following this link http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/7_0rc/devguide/index.html?content_staging_what_can_be_synchronized.htm. Do I need to reinstall or some thing?

Could you please let me what do I need to do to unlock ultimate features?

PS: Previously this site was Kentico 6 I have upgraded it to 7 with base license a month ago.

Make sure you remove the base license. Also restarting the instance should help and clearing the cache in your browser will help with any image and/or javascript issues that could be left over from the 6 -> 7 upgrade.

I have tried restarting machine, site and app pools. also cleared browser cache still could not find the staging button in the banner. Any clue?

Hi,

The staging interface should be there also in the lower edition - it would just tell you you do not have access there. This looks like this module was not even installed. I would recommend to install a fresh v7 instance and use this project files, in case you have not customized or added custom code.
