Kentico 12 MVC Url Selector issue

Hi,

I have an issue when using Url Selector. When I open modal dialog where I can choose page from pages tree (content tab), and when I choose a page and then save a modal dialog, I can see url for example like this: https://someurl.mvc/About. But when I open Url Selector modal dialog again, I see that the active tab is web (not content) and when I switch to content tab, https://someurl.mvc/About is replaced with something like this: ~/getdoc/acdd2058-bde0-4c9d-8332-45f417220571/default

Do you know what's going on and how can I resolve this issue? My expectation is when I choose a page on content tab and when I open modal dialog again, the correct tab and page is preselected.

Hi Tomasz,

Looks like a Kentico admin area bug as it behaves the same for me and I haven't been able to find config parameters to fix this. Have you tried to contact support@kentico.com ? From my experience they are quite fast in fixing these.

I am afraid the URL selector form control was not designed to remember the tab and page which was selected last. If you need to keep this data, you would need to customize its code in the '/CMS/CMSModules/Content/FormControls/Documents/SelectPath.ascx'.

Regarding the link to the selected page, the system shows a virtual context link but when you save the changes, it is converted to a full link and saved to the database in a correct format.
