Hide head content of Master template in child pages

Naresh Ede asked on April 4, 2018 18:53

Hi guys

I had created a page in content tree, it shouldn't have any content in head section. I don't want to load any content in that new page, so I selected none in template tab. And in template properties->header I unchecked the load head from ancestor pages.

Still I'm getting that content of master layout in my newly created page. Actually i have content in head section of Master template, but I don't want that header content in my child page.

Thanks

Naresh Ede

Set that page template to be a master page template in the Geleral settings of the template and you'll be set.

Go to Properties > Template of the child page and set the page nesting to None, so it doesn't inherit from masterpage.

Or if you have both head and foot on master but only want to hide the head part, set the visibility of the head components on master page to hide from child pages.

I am just adding link to the page nesting documentation for your reference: Inheriting portal engine page content
