forum post error

JJ Jimez asked on November 22, 2017 12:07

Hello I installed Kentico 10 free version and loaded personal site web template. I created test user and replied to first forum post by Abi. Received Access Denied Feature 'FullContactManagement' is not available in the Kentico edition you are using. See event log for more details. Went back to forum and my reply was posted there successfully. With free version of Kentico forum should be supported right? How do I remove the error screen?

This error may be more with managing contacts instead of forum posts. Some operation is triggering a feature that's not supported. Did you do anything else in your forum setup? it could be an option is set on your Forum itself that you'll need to disable.

Post the full error as well, may help us!

Hi,
It is possible that on the personal sample site, as a showcase, are used also online marketing features which are not supported in free edition. Please send a message to support@kentico.com with the domain name - we will send you a 7-day key with all features unlocked, so you can remove the features and then replace back the free edition license key. Please refer to this thread in your email.

Hello, I installed Hotfix 10.0.44 and the issue was resolved. I can now post comments on blog posts and reply to forum with no problem.

Using free version and personal site template straight out of the box. No modules/features or settings/options were changed. I did try to turn on/off comments on blog post from the form tab and turn subscriptions for comments on/off on blog itself (neither solved the original error message).

Thank you to Pavel Jiřík who said a bug was fixed.
