Error Loading Webparts

We have kentico v5.5.3789 and all of sudden every single page has multiple error messages "[Error loading the WebPart ''] Value cannot be null. Parameter name: virtualPath"

We don't have any asp or .net developers here so are having a hard time figuring out why this has happened. Everyone who has access says they did not touch anything in the CMS.

Restart the website and see if this helps. Also check the event logs and see what the specific error is. Could be that something changed with the physical file system.

Hi,

Restarting is a good idea. However, I would recommend upgrade to a newer version - it is possible that this is caused by a bug. It is long time ago but there were some issues with the Virtual path provider that have been fixed. Also, what environment are you running? If it is something like medium trust, you need to store the virtual objects to disk (link).
