Custom module UniGrid action to open modal window

I have a custom module with a UniGrid populated with custom table data that we need to have an action button open an approval form in a Modal window.

Is there any good documentation for this with examples, I have looked but have not had much luck.

That's true, Martin done great job. I refrenced whole series of Module Development - great source of documentation.
