Contact group macro condition is not working

Lokendra Jain asked on May 24, 2018 20:38

I have created a form in the form application. I have created a contact group "Contact Group Affiliates". In the contact group i want the user details who has submitted the form. i am using a dynamic macro condition in the contact group. in the form i have provided the column mapping for contact group.

Contact "has" submitted form "Request EBM Guidelines" in last "125" day(s).

this macro condition is not working for me. What step needed to make it work.

What do you mean it's not working? New submissions aren't going into the group? Old submissions aren't going into the group? What's not working?

What version are you on?

Please help on this.

Is your macro condition based on the activity of form submission? If so, can you search in the Contact management > Activities and see if "form submission" is been tracked?

Hi Rui Wang,

Thanks for your response.

Yes my macro condition is based on the activity of form submission. I have checked the activities in contact management and found the last activity was tracked on 2/8/2018 9:44:03 AM.

After that We have approx 100 of form submission but its not tracked into activities.

Thanks,

Lokendra

If the last one was tracked on 2/8, then that's over 125 days so no contacts match that.

Now, are there other activities been tracked? Or all stopped on 2/8? If all activities tracking stopped on 2/8, then you will need to troubleshoot for that. E.g. check the settings for online marketing and make sure all the tracking are enabled. Also check \CMS\App_Data\CMSModules\WebAnalytics folder to see if there are log files not been processed, etc.

Hi Rui Wang,

I have checked the activities and found its logging other activities other than the particular form submission.

In \CMS\App_Data\CMSModules\WebAnalytics folder i didn't find any file.

I have checked all the setting related to online-marketing and contact management all are enabled.

Recently I have submitted the form but its not added in the contact group. I have checked the contact activities its not logged any thing related to this form submission while its showing the activities for other forms.

I am not getting why its not logging any activity for this particular form.

Thanks,

Lokendra

Hmmm, if everything else works, are you using the out of box Online Form web part to display this form or something custom?

Other than that, you may want to check the version and hotfix number and see if there was a bug.

Hi Rui Wang,

I am using on-line-form webpart for form.

My issue resolved after enabling the Log on-line marketing activity on the page-> general tab.

Thanks for your help and support.
