Kentico 10 - Generating Leads and Selling Products in MVC
Since the fresh start for MVC in Kentico 9, we have received great feedback on what should be the next scenarios our partners would like to implement in their MVC projects. By far, the possibility to manage online stores and run marketing campaigns surpassed other areas and I am, therefore, glad to let you know that these wishes just came true!
In Kentico 10, we made sure that you are able to present your Product Catalog, with a search facility. Of course, the main objective is to sell the products and therefore visitors are able to go through the complete checkout process, including adding items to the shopping cart and selecting payment and shipping methods. For returning visitors, we made sure that the registration and login is possible by also using social accounts, together with experiencing the My Profile section.
When it comes to Online Marketing in MVC, Kentico 10 brings the set of tools you are used to from Kentico EMS to ensure you’ll always have insights into your customers’ journey. Running and monitoring online campaigns is smooth thanks to the Campaign Management as well as Email Marketing with improved management of email recipients. To take full control of your leads, we included full Contacts and Activities tracking along with Marketing Automation for targeting customers during their life cycle and Lead Scoring to get to the hot leads on your website.
If you opt for the MVC development model, you can still benefit from Content Personalization for your visitors with a ready-to-use API leveraging segmentation tools like Contact Groups and Personas.
