Windows Server 2019

Lee Schofield asked on May 20, 2019 11:59

Hi,

The server and hosting requirements page mentions Windows Server 2016 as the latest server version of Windows supported for Kentico. Is Windows Server 2019 missing from the list because there are known issues or just because Kentico haven't tested the product on that platform yet? Do you have an ETA?

Cheers Howell

The official release of Windows 2019 was just before Kentico released version 12 - so there was not enough time to test it. It should be officially supported in the next Kentico release. But from my experience as soon as you will use appropriate .Net and IIS version, it should be fine.

Thanks Juraj. We have automated deployments so it was simple to bring up a test instance on Windows 2019 and while we haven't properly tested it, everything seemed to work fine as expected. This was actually Kentico 10.
