The XML Sitemap is generated in Live site mode only.

Hello everyone, hope you all with good health.

Im trying to setup google sitemap and i followed this tutorial [ https://youtu.be/nSvbBSesOEg ].

The thing is that the URL of the sitemap gives me this message "The XML Sitemap is generated in Live site mode only."

So, i don't know if this is even an error of some kind or if i missing some extra configuration.

It is not an error. It is also mentioned in the documentation: "The web part only generates output when the page is accessed on the live site."
This means you need to either log out or, use different browser (or anonymous window) or, as Brenden said, change the viewmode to live site by adding the query string to the URL.

When you view the page you need to be logged out or have ?viewmode=0 at the end of your URL.
