Hello Everyone,
This may not be a Kentico question specifically, but I'd still appreciate your input.
Recently I've noticed a strange recurring item in the 404 Error reports on my website.
There are numerous failed attempts to access pages ending in “/).html(“
So my Invalid Page Report is full of links like:
/Home/).html(
/Parent/Child/).html(
Has anyone seen this before? My assumption is that this is some type of low level hacking attempt, but I haven’t had much luck looking up this specific issue online.
I'm not sure If I've ever come across this on any other site I've managed, so I was wondering if it might be a Kentico specific issue?
Thanks in advance.

Look at the agent making the call, could be a bot or a hacker. Could also be some bad HTML entered on a page too.
Are you using the '.html'-extension in your site?
If not it might be a crawler/bot, as Brenden mentioned look at the agent in the eventlog details.
