Requires App pools refresh

Naresh Ede asked on February 13, 2018 11:31

Hi

I had created a new kentico instance by moving copying code files from one server to new server and configured the site properly , everything is working fine but for every 2 or 3 days I'm getting an SQL error.

Then i'm doing app pool refresh in IIS whenever that problem encounters, then the site working , so anybody please give me the permanent solution .

These are the event logs i found.

Hi,
What version of Kentico are you using? There were some issues fixed in Kentico 11 which were throwing this kind of error. Also, have you checked this thread too? The same error is widely discussed there with possible workarounds. IT was the first result I found when searching for the error.

Are there now 2 active sites pointing to the same database? It almost seems like two instances are trying to perform the same actions at the same time, but it's just a guess.

Can you post your event log pictures somewhere that is not password protected, or set them as public? they are showing as broken images, and if i can see them i may be able to help more!

Hi Juraj Ondrus , i had seen that thread earlier and didn't understand except that Brenden's correct answer.

The site is working after app pool refresh, but its was requiring pool refresh frequently.

One more thing I'm using kentico 8.2

Hi,
Check the answers from Michal Samuhel - in one of them he suggests as a workaround setting the runallmanagedmodules to false. The best would be using Kentico 11. You have not answered what version you are using.
