Problem syncing between Kentico 13 instances

I am having trouble syncing content between two instances of Kentico 13. When I try to sync, I get the following error:

Synchronization client error: Exception occurred: Server was unable to process request. ---> Type 'CMS.Synchronization.StagingTaskData' from assembly 'CMS.Synchronization, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=834b12a258f213f9' cannot be bound to.

I can't find any leads on what the problem is. When I test the connection to the target server in the staging server config it says it connects OK. But when I try to sync I get the error. The target CMS instance seems to be fine when I browse the admin site. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have a mismatch of DLLs between your instances. Check the BIN directory in both environments and find out which DLLs are the incorrect version. Then verify your database is the correct version. My guess is you did an upgrade or applied a hotfix of some sort and something failed OR you did not finish updating the nuget packages.

Thank you!! That was the exact issue, one of the instances had an older version running.
