Page updates not pushed on live site by staging

Vladimir Udalov asked on May 18, 2018 18:00

Any ideas why small changes on page like new field value or attachment not appeared on live site after running staging?

Pages on dev and live have same GUID and alias.

Staging works well for new page, object changes, etc

Updated: Additional info. I created stage instance from dev then adjused dev as source and stage as target server. Staging works for new products and for some old products. For others update doesnt reflect on staging module.

Any ideas, what I can check in db or should I recreate products or fix somehow wront items?

Is the page in workflow? Have you checked the page in and published the page on your dev site before you push them to live?

Do the changes show at all or never? If they show later, it could be caching.

Actually no changes. Even after clearing all the caches. But I have more details now.

There is a number of attachment fields for multiple files. Customer wants to add\delete files in this fields, but changes not appear on staging. As well as attachment's titles.

When I add\delete files to attachments and\or change file metadata, this is not reflected on staging tasks. No tasks here.

I see attachments in general are able to staging. Maybe attachments field not?

Do your settings allow for attachments to be staged? I don't remember where they are in the Settings app but there are some checkboxes you might need to check to allow them to be versioned and/or staged.
