Page alias is in collision with other page alias or page URL path.

Hello,

I have one page type created. And i am creating document type using that page type. What i do is I Right Click on a Page select that Particular Page Type. Give Title of that document and click on save. Let say i have give Title of that document as "Xperia C4". Now i go to URL from the Properties of that document. In URL it is automatically set Page alias as "Xperia-C4". Now i click on "Add new alias" and in Path or pattern field if add whatever "Xperia-C4" or "Xperia_C4" or "XperiaC4" every time i am getting "Page alias is in collision with other page alias or page URL path".

This is happening only after i upgraded to kentico 8.2.33 it was working fine in Kentico 6.0.34.

Can any one please advise.

Why would you enter an alias for the same URL the page already has? To me that doesn't make sense. If it worked in v6, it was probably fixed later. What are the actual urls you're entering? Have you checked all of the aliases to see if there is or isn't a collision? You can find this on any page when you enter a new alias.

Thanks you for your replay !!...

It is ok if it is not working for "Xperia-C4" because the same URL the page already has but it do not let me enter "Xperia_C4" or "XperiaC4" also. And i checked other aliases and there is not any of the aliases exist in other pages.

Hello,
If you are using wild card URLs I would check them as well. In case that there is a matching wildcard URL or alias that could be resolved in given value, you cannot add another alias.
