MVC media library

I'm sure i'm missing something basic but, I've moved a site out to our live servers and the media library is not syncing with the forward facing site.

Are the Web Farms showing up correctly? Any issues in the Web Farm task?

Are both apps on the same server? Try Naming the Site and Administration in the web.config:

<add key="CMSWebFarmServerName" value="projectSite" />

and

<add key="CMSWebFarmServerName" value="projectCMS" />

the name is up to you but just it doesn't get a generated name

Great, i had missed that step. I'm not the server admin so I'll have to relay info to that person. But, for this to work does the admin site app pool need file permissions on the forward facing site?

It all worked on my local set up and the staging set up which i set up, but the live servers we use, we have a different department that handles. This is our first MVC site so we've probably missed steps that we are not used to doing.

What is the best practice for settings for an MVC site on this. We have 2 web farm servers lets call them IIS1 and IIS2. I was logged into the site and hitting IIS2 and uploaded a file to the media library and the site successfully pushed it out to the front end site on IIS1. However, the file didn't get pushed out to the CMS on IIS1 and didn't get pushed out to the front end site on IIS2.

Any thoughts?

Do you have license keys for appropriate number of web farm servers? How are the web farms configured between the two Kentico admin apps and the two MVC apps? Are all 4 servers listed as healthy, there are no tasks in the queue in the Web farms admin UI?
