Media files deleted by Public Anonymous User

Hi Guys, I have a situation which I don't understand how it is happening. I have a media library with security on it that only administrators can make modification on.

But every now and then some of the files get deleted by Public Anonymous User. This user profile has been disabled and have no roles linked to it. I have confirmed the user both in the event log and in staging tasks.

It is very frustrating being that the files then drop off the website.

Has anyone else experienced this? What else can I do to prevent this from happening?

We currently run Kentico 12 SP MVC.

Since you have staging configured there's most likely an issue with content being deleted or removed on the staging site and then synchronized over to the production site and being removed. I'd check your source which would be your staging site, and make sure the content is not being deleted there and then synchronized over.

There are a few other things to check but I would start with this.
