Hi.. I am new to Kentico... I want to know how to insert the marketplace content into the site such as webparts, themes, that are available. Thank you so much.

Download the item from the Marketplace and typically the author will have some sort of instructions zipped up with the package. You can verify this by opening the .zip package and see if there is a folder in there called "data". If so, the package is ready to import. To import you go to the Sites app and click Import sites or objects. Upload the .zip file. Select the .zip file and click import. From there you will be given choices which you can review. You'll typically want to check the box to import files. Once you've imported, you should have access to the webpart, module, etc. from within the UI and/or file system.

Check out the documentation.

Hello, yes, by default, the marketplace item will only work on the supported version of Kentico. Of course, if you take a web part for example, after importing it, you can change its code files to reflect API changes for new versions and the web part should work afterwards just fine.

@No True,

Not only do you have to make code modifications to the actual controls, the XML files that package the webpart or module up will also have to be modified. This isn't really described because it's not recommended. I suggest taking a look at the top the XML files and look for a version...
