I’m using Kentico v9.0 and have noticed that when I created a widget of the editable text web part - if I add that widget inline to a page via the form tab and then add content to that widget and save it, and then try to go through the workflow approval - the content disappears. It remains when I click save but disappears when I click approve workflow.
I’ve noticed a few bugs addressed about this in hot fixes in versions 9.x and 10.x however I am unable to do any hot fixes or upgrades for the foreseeable future on this project - I’m wondering if you can point me to a temporary fix I can make to get this working again or what the cause is?

Are you on 9.0.0?
There was a fix in hotfix 3 that fixed widget properties being overwritten. If that is the bug then I would download that hotfix and see what changes have been made to any of the files and make those changes in your code.
