Kentico Adding * Asterisk to the End of Page Urls ?

For some reason kentico is adding an asterisk * before the query string to all of our page paths when the user clicks on "Live Site" link in the administration section.

https://localhost:44300/myPageAliasHere*?viewmode=0

The asterisk is causing pages to get blocked and I have no idea why kentico is doing this now. Where could this be coming from? I checked the page alias and there is no asterisk.

Any idea?

How are you defining the page alias? Also, what is set as the forbidden URL character replacement?
Kentico is not adding the * just so, I have never seen this before. My guess is that it is set as forbidden URL character replacement instead of the default dash (-). Or, there is some custom request handler or IIS URL Rewriting rule.
