Hi, do any of you know why the marketing automating crashes? > the online marketeer imported about 3000 contacts into a contact group and then applied a marketing automation to that group. >> this process slows the entire site and it stops sending emails (see eventlog.zip)

I would start with how many steps are in the automation process? If you manually start the process to 3000 contacts all at once, it does take some juice out of the server with all the calculation and SQL calls. It may not be a good idea to do that manual start process during the day when there a lots of traffic hitting the site.

Hi

The automation process is quite simple. First step is a newsletter with a link to the website. Users can subscribe to an event.

After 5 days the automation process checks if a contact has submitted that specific for, if not >> reminder mail. If a contact has completed that form the first time or after the reminder email, they get an auto respond confirmation mail (of that form).

The automation process will set a contact status in each of the cases.

After 10 days all subscribers of that form get a confirmation mail with more event details from the automation process.

This doesn't seem any rocket science to me.
