Kentico -12 Portal Engine support post December-2023

We are using Kentico 12 portal engine enterprise edition for our organization. We have some custom modules created on it and we are in process of plan to upgrade it. But want to know what will happen in case we are not able to upgrade till December 2023? Will our application stop working in production? What are the other problematic areas where we might land in 2024 in case we are bit late to upgrade till Dec 31, 2024?

Your application will continue to work without issue. You will no longer have support for it though. If there are any issues with your version 12 site, you won't be able to get Kentico support to help, you will be on your own. You also won't receive any hotfix updates for version 12.

If there is a major security issue, Kentico most likely will release a hotfix to rectify that issue specifically.
