K11 Newsletter Subscribe Custom Confirmation Message

Hello,

I'm trying to set a "custom success message" when a user subscribes to a newsletter.

Currently, when a user subscribes to my newsletter it displays a default message like "You have been subscribed.".

Is it possible to over-ride the default?

Appreciate the help!

It is in the resource file: CMSResources\CMS.resx. String called newslettersubscription.subscribed. You can change to whatever you want.

To add to what Peter said, take that same key and add it in the Localization App and add your own string.

Kentico reads the Localization app data first, then the resx files last by default. So no need to adjust the base Kentico files (which will be overwritten).
