Is there documentation on the fields in the New Blog post form and New Event (booking system)?

I am implementing a blog and events on the website I am creating. I can't find any documentation to explain what all the fields are for or how they work in the "New Blog post" form and also the "New Event (booking system)" form. Can some one point me to the documentation? Thanks

You can find these fields in the Page Types app under the respective page type. As far as an explanation of the each of the fields, I'd install a sample site and get familiar with the existing data. For the most part the field names are pretty explanatory. There is little documentation on the out of the box page types, because they can be so customized.
