how to use custom form control in page types

Hi All,

I have come to develop a custom control and how can i use it in pages types in K12 MVC approach? I know how to register custom controls for widget use but in pages types, I cannot seems to find it.

We are not using portal engine development. We are using MVC approach in Kentico 12.

In this case you need to create your own form components. Form controls are related more to portal engine - web forms development model. But still, you can create your custom form controls as described here, if you wish to use them for the page type fields.
