Fields and Layout tabs missing from global admin editor

We created have suddenly noticed that when you go into the Page Types application when you view an individual page type after creation the 'Fields' and 'Layout' tabs are missing. How have we made these missing from this view? Is this a permissions issue? We can't work out why this has now happened and its an issue because once we have create a type we can not longer edit the fields. Thanks.

Hi,

can you check the Data Type in the listing: Image Text

If you've selected the Container type in the creation of the Page Type it has no fields and layouts Image Text

If this is the case best would be to just remove and recreate the page type (if you have not created any pages based on them)

If they were there before, did you recently perform any kind of hotfix or upgrade? If so, please clear your cache and resign your macros.

We haven't done a hotfix or upgrade. In the end we re-created the site and everything worked fine.

Did you do a new installation or just create a new site from the Sites application using the wizard or import?
