Fail to get attachment (image) after upgrade to version 7.0

I have upgraded from 5.5R2 to kentico 7 and currently running a series of issues.

The images that were uploaded into Kentico used to generate a url like /getattachment/bb21553f-105f-4658-86bf-dc147dfa7fb8/.aspx for example. This is now returning into a 404. I notice this right away after upgrading to version 6.0.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Check your settings to see if you have redirect to main document extension checked. Also did you change your settings at all to use extensionless URLs in or after the upgrade?

I'm also experiencing a similar issue after upgrading from 8 to 9 then to 10. Can you give any further info on where in settings I should check this? Any help much appreciated.
