Events

Hi Guys,

I am looking in creating an events page. I had a look at the documentation, and I do not have a page mentioned in the documentation. https://docs.kentico.com/k12/managing-website-content/events/creating-events So I created a page type, from which I will create a page, not sure if this is the correct path.

Also my events application requires a CMS.BookingEvent class. Is there any documentation regarding this event class?

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Can you specify what you want your events to do? Booking events are events in which people can purchase tickets for. If you're going that route, I'd suggest simply using the Event page type, adding an additional field for the link and link them to an EventBrite event you create. It's much simpler and doesn't include a bunch of the complications for Ecommerce within Kentico that you have to code.

There is an article about Event handlers. It is a bit old, but still valid. It should give you some insights.
