Emails

Our bizforms are no longer sending email notifications. I am able to send emails by going into CMSSiteManager->Administration->System->E-mail Tab, but emails do not send from anywhere else. There were no smtp setting changes made prior to this happening. Email queue is enabled and it appears that every email sent by the system is listed (~5700 emails) and is in "waiting" status. The only buttons nor greyed out on the email queue screen are "cancel" and "refresh". I've rebooted the server that Kentico is running on, and it hasn't made a difference.

Is your scheduled task running? There should be a task named: "Send queued e-mails"

What version of Kentico are you using? In early versions of 7 and previous versions the queue didn't resend failed emails. I'd suggest sending all the failed ones and creating a scheduled task to resend them (I do this for all my clients on v7 or earlier). OR just monitor the queue.

So the "Send queued e-mails" will send all the mails together with the failed emails? How to remove the email from queue after a few attempts and give notice back to the sender?
