Email validation issue

Hi there,

I'm facing to an issue of email validation in Biz Form. I was tested on new custom biz form and default site instance of kentico 8.

It's always says "invalid input". I cannot pass through the validator although I filled a correct email.

Maybe its not validating or revalidating it because you have another error on your page (credit in top right)?

Have you checked the field and checked the validation rule you have on it? What field type are you using? Textbox, email?

Hi,

I don't think so, this is one step checkout page (default kentico), I also facing this issue on contact form of Corporate site and any other custom site/form of Kentico 8.

Sometime I can go to next step by remove this field and create a same one.

I have passed this K8 setup to 5 persons for testing. 4 persons was met this issue like me, only 1 guy is NOT. I dont know why, it's very corking.

What is the field using for a validator? Maybe it doesn't like the .local at the end and is checking for a 2, 3, or 4 character (.us, .com, .info, etc) vs. 5 at the end.

I was tested for all of email type, I also involved my tester to this for help. Plz have a look at image below. That is all default form settings.

Hi Duong,

I have tested the "1-step checkout process" on a sample E-commerce site with the latest hotfix 8.1.6 and the validation did not throw any similar errors like yours even when I used the same e-mail address. Therefore my recommendation is to apply the latest hotfix for your current version - either 8.0.21 or 8.1.6 which should hopefully resolve the issue for you in case settings for E-mail field are really set to their default values.
