Editable Page Builder not working in Kentico 12 MVC

I'm having the same issue as reported here

I'm brand new to Kentico, my question is my CMS and MVC web.config hash string salt do not match. Do I copy from CMS to MVC, vice-versa or doesn't matter or just re-sign macros in the admin system?

Turns out Page Builder not working wasn't related to hash string salt not matching. My routes were out of order.

Just to answer your question - it does not matter what string you will use as soon as you will ensure the hash salt string is the same in both apps. Then, re-sign macros.
