Ecommerce Emails

I'm working on setting up an ecommerce site but am not able to get it to use custom email templates. I've cloned the global ones and added them to my site, but it appears to still use the global templates. Am I missing something? I used the same names and code names for my templates.

I have not tried switching the scope to just a site, but usually clone the emails in the global, change the name and deploy them there.

If you really want them to be in your site scoped, you will probably have to override the ecommerce email API to look there.

"Site-specific - allow you to override the global templates for specific websites. You need to select the appropriate Site and create a new template with a Code name that matches the corresponding global template." is what it says here https://docs.kentico.com/display/K82/Managing+email+templates but doesn't seem to work.

Some of the email templates are configurable within the settings and ecommerce settings. Some are essentially hard coded to use the combination of a grouping/category, site and template code name. Some are just hard coded.

If you're using a single site instance of Kentico then you'd be save modifying the out of the box global email templates.
