Disallow from indexing one of the lang. versions

Artemy Sokolov asked on April 2, 2014 06:21

Hello!

I have a multilanguage site and I need to disallow from google index one of the language versions. Maybe something like Disallow: /et-ee/* in robots.txt, but i think it wont bring any changes since my all urls looks like www.domain.com/product-name.aspx Is there any solutions?

Best regards

What you suggest should work although you'd need to have the culture in your URL. You can make this change in the Site Manager>Settings>URLs & SEO>SEO - Cultures

Thank you for your answer!

Could be a great solution, but i can't activate these cultures, mean when i activate "Use language prefix for URLs" nothing happens, not sure, but maybe this happens because i am using custom URL path for all documents?

Hi,

Could you please double check that the setting "Use language prefix for URLs" is enabled also for the current site and not only on global level?
