Disabling Workflow Versioning ???

I am doing some playing around and have imported an existing site onto a test server, using a "free edition" licence. I am getting the error "Feature 'WorkflowVersioning' is not available in the 'Free' license edition. Please upgrade your license or disable the feature." This is totally true and valid.

What I'd like to know is if I can disable this from the Free Edition I am working in somehow (but as the function is not available it does not appear under the Config / Settings, obviously), or if I need to go back to my existing site, disable it, re-export the site, and re-import it... then continue my playing around.

Its not really a problem to start again, but I'd like to learn on the way !

Hi,

Yes, in Free Edition Workflow application is hidden. So I would recommend disableng it on the source full website and reimport. It is possible to do it via database directly, but will require much more efforts I recon.

Or, another option would be sending us a ticket using this form and ask for a temporary EMS license (let us know the domain name and Kentico version), which will unlock the Workflow application for you.So you can disable the workflow, move all the pages to the published step so the workflow cycle is finished and then use the free edition license key again.
