Database Installation Problem

Hi

Since upgrading V8.2 to latest Hotfix (8.2.49 - Security improvements) I cannot create any more CMS Installations.

It creates all files OK, recognizes SQL Server and DB and then just goes on and on without creating any tables etc.

When I reboot and have a look at the SQL DB its empty.

I have been installing many dozens of CMSs and this is the 1st time this is happening.

Are you using the KIM tool or are you talking about adding new sites to an instance? Did you have any errors after applying the last hotfix?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Its a new installation using KIM.

There were no errors as far as I know.

Hi,

I am sorry to hear this. It looks like there is an issue if the hotfix is applied on the setup files. We will take a look at it. Right now, the best way would be restoring the backups for the setup files (or downlaoding the 8.2 installer from scratch).

Many thanks, by restoring the backup do you mean to apply the previous Hotfix, 84 in this case?
