Create additional editable email properties

Hello everyone,

Need help with the email marketing module when creating newsletter. Each email has a set of predefined properties (subject, preheader, UTM parameters, etc.) that can be edited by the user and can also be used in the email template through macros.

Is it possible to create more email properties? I cannot find any relevant documentation on this. If I was creating a widget, you can create any needed property but it scopes only to the widget and not the whole email.

Why do I need this, you may ask? For example, I have created an email template that most of the newsletter require. Recently, a newsletter required a different background color on the html body. I was forced to duplicate the email template only to add a color style to the body, whereas I would prefer to be able to handle this variable from inside the email editor.

If there is another way where I can somehow pass properties from the editor to the template please point me to the right direction.
