Content migration

Hi All,

Have you ever done content migration from kentico 11 to kentico 12. Kentico 11 is using portal engine setup and kentico 12 will be used mvc forms.

Kindly advise. Thanks.

For structured page type pages, you can easily migrate those from portal to MVC.

But all free formed page built using portal engine web parts or widgets need to be re-evaluated and come up with content modeling to break those down in order to fit into MVC.

Thanks for the reply. Do you also have any other sample to reference ? We have to migrate a lot of content from kentico 11 to kentico 12.

K12 is still new, so there is not much examples out there for the migration. What kind of sample are you looking for?
