Tan Le Van asked on December 17, 2014 03:53

Hi,

I'm using Kentico 8.0.15(hotfixed) and I'm try to change Dates format in the backend of the site. But does not happening. I was tried change in Setting site to French and when I use {% CurrentDatetime %}, I get exactly dates format of French. But in the System(Backend), I saw the dates format was not change. So, Is there any way to change dates format in the backend site?

Thanks!

In the backend, what do you mean? How they are stored in the database?

It's Server Time in CMS -> System -> General -> System time information.

Hi,

you need to allow some UI culture in the Localization application - the culture that has the format of the time and date you want. Then go to Users application and select this culture as the preferred UI culture. Save the changes, log out and back in and now the date format is changed.
