Hi Mark,

There is very little context in your question. Could you please provide more details to help you?

In particular:

  • Are you installing version 12 or 13? If 12, is it Portal Engine or MVC?
  • Are you installing Dancing Goat example or an empty website?
  • Could you post you web.config? The error tells there might be an issue on line 116.

Try uninstalling the Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform NuGet package from the Kentico admin app, build the solution and then install it again, the same version as it was - 2.0.1 and then build the project again. This should help. It seems to me that this NuGet package was not installed properly.

Hi Dmitry, First of all thanks for your answer! More details: 1. Both versions 12 and 13 throw error after click live site in left sidebar. 2. Empty website 3. web.config is very long (after install successfully I don't change anything in this file)
