AD import using ldaps

Olivier Cozette asked on June 30, 2015 20:33

Hello,

I need to be able to import our users from AD, using LDAPS (port 636 instead of 389). Any idea on how to proceed ? thanks !

Hello Juan,

I've discussed this with our developers and AD Import toolkit support only LDAP at the moment. It's not possible to change this behavior without the Source code. I'm sorry.

Best regards, Martin

Thanks Brenden, that's what I'm using, but it does not have an option pour LDAPS, it is only LDAP, and the firewall does'not accept the port 389 anymore.

Nevermind. I do not need to start Kentico AD Import Utility from the server hosting the website on the other side of the FW, I just have to start it from any machine inside, and selecting the right DB server, that will do the trick.
