Accidentally deleted staging task

Kàren Vaganyan asked on March 11, 2019 16:29

I accidentally deleted a 'Create' staging task for a page I'm trying to sync from dev to prod, and now I'm not able to stage anything for that page as I keep getting the error "SyncServer.ServerError: Exception occurred: Page node not found, please synchronize the page node first."

Is there some way I can re-create the 'Create' task?

Go to the content tree in the Staging app and do a full sync of the parent node of the page you just created. If you can't, then delete the page and the associated "DELETE" task, and recreate the page.

You can sync a specific page or path clicking on of 3 options on top of the staging page:

  • Synchronize current page - synchronizes the page currently selected in the tree.
  • Synchronize current subtree - synchronizes the selected page and all descendants in the subtree.
  • Run complete synchronization - synchronizes the site's entire content tree.

If you save the page it will create an update task, and the update will create the page if its missing on the next environment.
