The Kentico Developer Roadshow is coming to London!
The 2015 Developer Roadshow has continued to be great event series with some awesome meetups around the US. While we have reached a lot of developers in several cities, we’re not done yet! In this blog I’ll give you the details about our next event coming to the UK community!
The US KDR events were big successes, bringing lots of good information to the Toronto, Boston, Chicago, and Denver development communities. Because our partners are world-wide, we have decided to extend the event to Europe to bring some great info to our UK friends. I am excited to announce that we will host an event in London in October 2015!
The Details
Following the same format as before, the events will be a 1-2 hour presentation where we will discuss and demonstrate some advanced development techniques and topics. We will use the voting features in EventBrite to allow the audience to decide the topic. The meetings will be held in the evening (6 PM-8 PM) at a central location to make it as easy as possible. Kentico will supply the food, drinks, and speaker so all you will need to do is show up!
The format for the event is a presentation with discussion. Everyone is encouraged to participate and discuss their thoughts, problems, and challenges. The event will be very casual and comfortable. And who knows, there may even be a giveaway or two.
Topics
For the topics, there is a voting option during the registration process. Be sure to vote for you favorite topic!
- Kentico & Azure
- Kentico caching - deep dive
- Performance / Scalability
- Web Farms / Multiple Environments
Dates / Locations
We have selected venues central to each city to make it as easy as possible for partners to attend. With the events being in the evening (6 PM-8 PM), it shouldn’t conflict too much with normal business hours.
While the event is free, it will help us to plan the event if attendees register beforehand. Use the links below to let us know you will be there. We are planning on 30-40 at each location, however, having more than 40 at the event means a lot of developers are interested, which is a very good thing! And remember to vote for your favorite topic during registration!
Moving Forward
We are always looking at future events and cities for later in the year. If you think your area would be a good location, let me know in the comments and we’ll check into adding it to the schedule!
