September brings interesting web projects in the travel industry
See the Top 7 web projects in traveling/tourism for the last month
Don’t know the real reason for it, but the last month was well-stocked with top web projects in the Traveling/Tourism industry. Among others, let me mention the official web site of
The European Travel Commission -
http://www.visiteurope.com, which was created by
Last Exit - a UK based Kentico Gold Partner. The European Travel Commission’s (ETC) main aim is to promote Europe as a destination to long-haul tourism markets outside Europe and the Visit Europe web site is one of the key steps to achieve this aim. The site is huge in content, which is well-arranged in various categories - Europe isn’t categorized only by countries, but also by themes and regions. Furthermore, the overall design is catchy yet easy for user orientation. Lastly, the site is multilingual – currently in 6 languages including Japanese.
