Revealed: the Real Value of CMS Industry-related Media

   —
7 CMS-related online media and their role in Kentico's 10-Year history.
This year Kentico celebrates 10 years of providing integrated marketing solutions to businesses of all sizes. The process of growing the company from a living room to a multinational 150-employee enterprise would never have been possible without a strong product, thriving partner network, and contented end users. Of course, product adoption has been supported by various online marketing efforts; email marketing, PPC campaigns, SEO, blogging, PR and social networks.

But, wait a minute! There is at least one more channel that should be mentioned – industry media!

CMS-related online media

Industry-related media has made a considerable contribution to our success. Not only in terms of how well it educates the public about our industry, therefore playing a part in its development, but also in helping us to build brand awareness and generate website traffic that, in many cases, has brought high quality leads and business opportunities.

Let’s take a quick look back at visitor numbers to our website from CMS-related media sites over the past 5 years. Our results include only organic traffic; no visits generated by banners or paid listings.

Evidently, CMSWire is the biggest contributor of traffic to our site. Nice.

But we all know that it’s not the volume of traffic that counts, but the quality. So what kind of traffic is it sending? How qualified? Well, I’m happy to report that not only does the traffic from CMSWire have the highest percentage of new sessions and lowest bounce rate of any other CMS-related media site, but visitors from CMSWire view more pages and spend longer on them, too.

So, obviously, after ten years of continued success, it’s time to say thank you, not only to our clients and partners, but also to the media that evangelizes our industry, starting with CMSWire!

In honor of our 10-Year Anniversary this June, Kentico launched an initiative to raise $10,000 for charity. This unique event offers the opportunity to donate $100 to Red Cross and Red Crescent, and, as a thank you gift, receive a free Kentico CMS Base License: http://www.kentico.com/kentico10years#give-and-get.
