New Certified Extensions for Kentico 11

   —

On top of all the new great built-in features of the upcoming Kentico 11, there are some more capabilities coming as a result of the cooperation with our technology partners. You can look forward to integrations with Ucommerce, Salesforce, and Marketo.

UPDATE: Please note, the following extensions are currently being rigorously tested with the final build of Kentico 11 so we can be sure they meet the high standards of our certified extensions program. They will be released as part of Kentico 11’s upcoming certified extensions roll out.

Ucommerce for Kentico

Earlier this year, we announced our strategic partnership with Ucommerce, a leading e-commerce platform vendor. I can now happily inform you that the integration is completed and will be officially released together with Kentico 11. The partnership with Ucommerce enables Kentico customers and partners to do even more e-commerce with Kentico than ever before. If this information is new to you, I strongly recommend watching the Ucommerce for Kentico webinar to learn more.

Good news is that you can try Ucommerce for Kentico even now, since Ucommerce for Kentico 10 is already available for download, or you can schedule a personal demo here.

To get an even better understanding of how Ucommerce works together with Kentico and to learn how to build your own store on Ucommerce for Kentico, we have prepared a series of free online training sessions (Ucommerce Masterclasses) for you:

  • 20 - 23 November (09:00 - 13:00 CEST) - EMEA
  • 27 - 30 November (09:00 - 13:00 EDT) - America
  • 4 - 7 December (13:00 - 17:00 AED) - APAC

CRM Connect 2.0

In March this year, we introduced the first version of CRM Connect. It is a 3rd party connector for Kentico and MS Dynamics 365 helping businesses to get a 360-degree view of their customers and manage their relationships.

CRM Connect was built with more connectors in mind. This means that its architecture allowed us to use the same principals to build another connector at the top of it. As a result, CRM Connect 2.0 includes also a connector for Kentico and Salesforce for bidirectional data synchronization between the systems, including synchronization of user and contact entities, and transformation of form submissions into leads in your CRM.

As an addition, the core architecture of CRM Connect 2.0 was upgraded to provide more flexibility for both MS Dynamics 365 and Salesforce connectors. It was developed by Emakina and will be officially launched together with Kentico 11.

Marketo Connector

Last year, Kentico and Bizstream introduced Compare for Kentico helping developers with deployments. This year, Bizstream performed an update to their Toolkit by adding some more cool stuff including Marketo Connector for Kentico.

One could ask why, if we have our own marketing automation system, Kentico EMS. Don't worry, we are not abandoning it. Marketo Connector for Kentico will be an alternative solution for those customers who already have Marketo in place and are looking for a content management system to deliver more robust content management capabilities for creating their online presentations, landing pages, etc. It will be released together with Kentico 11.

Of course, it is not only about allowing Marketo users to create richer content with Kentico. More important is the ability to deliver the right content at the right time. This means, the connector allows you to collect visitors' data on a Kentico website, push it to Marketo, and then deliver a personalized experience on your Kentico website based on what you know about the visitor in Marketo.
