Kentico Website Management Aplication for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad: Kentico Go Petr Passinger — Oct 24, 2011 cmskenticokentico go Quick review on other app that allows site administrators to remotely manage Kentico installations! Kentico Go is a iPhone & iPad application that allows site administrators to access and monitor their Kentico CMS websites using their mobile device. It shows the site health information and allows administrators to start/stop/restart a site, clear cache/memory and check the event log. It allows management of multiple websites running on one instance. These screenshots better illustrate the available features: The application was developed by Mike Irving from Silkmoth, a Kentico Gold Partner from UK, and it’s available on the iTunes App Store. Installation is very easy – you just need to upload Kentico Go iOS Manager script in a specific folder under your website root. As Mike said, the application was inspired by Kentico Mobile Manager Windows Phone Application by Bryan Soltis from Bit-Wizards. Many thanks to Mike! George B commented on Oct 27, 2011 Why we have to use 3rd parties applications for iPad etc.? Support for these devices at these days is a standard feature of true Enteprise Solutions. Even, several open-source solutions support them. Why not Kentico? Petr Passinger commented on Oct 24, 2011 @AdrianFriend Yes, It is acomplished by the ASHX file on the server side. Petr Passinger commented on Oct 24, 2011 @Armysniper89 Sorry, I wasn't accurate. It wasn't banned - it actually didn't meet the App Store Guidelines, which contained the specific condition / statement "We don't need any more Fart Apps". :) Adrian Friend commented on Oct 24, 2011 How does this app access the site(s)? Is it through a web service? Armysniper89 commented on Oct 24, 2011 So should we trust someone who built "Mr. Methane" and got it banned? ;) New subscription Leave message Your email: Specified email address is not valid.
