• Smart search partial word

    Is there a way to get smart search to match a partial word. eg: Search for: wheel will find "this is the wheel you use ..." and will also find "use a variety of wheels to ..."

    Hello, Yes, this should be possible. Please make sure a culture is assigned to the search index. Check if smart search is searching default content correctly and rebuild the smart search index. Best regards, Boris Pocatko

    I set the smart search box web part just as same as the Kentico company portal web site does. Set the result page to "/SpecialPages/Search.aspx". However, no response after clicking search button. Did I miss something?

    Hi, Yes, there is a way and it is described in the documentation too :-) You need to check the "Check permissions" box in the search results web part. Best regards, Juraj Ondrus

    I have tried the Smart search filter. Values : +Location;India;India +Location;UK;UK +Location;USA;USA I have added Location field to Article Documents. Search is not working. Please help!!!

    Yeah we're using the web parts. We found how to do it by changing the smart search results page web part to display the same document types as the smart search index. Cheers
